Two Years Ago Today . . .

Yes, it is hard to believe that two years ago today, little Precious was born and the beginning of Enjoy The Shepherd was sparked.

I remember that morning all too well. Our lives were in somewhat of a turmoil and we were in the middle of trials. The very LAST thing we needed at that moment was another expense to land on our laps. Yet, God had other plans as Precious was Rejected. I remember thinking, "how in the world will we ever be able to afford the milk to raise this lamb?" But there was no choice on whether or not you help her, you simply must. Therefore, Precious took this ride home with me (pictured above) right after I shot the video about her rejection and the love of the Good Shepherd. Here, sitting two years later, I am amazed at how God used this little lamb to answer a prayer in my own life. My heart was for Him to use me to spread the Good News of Jesus in some way, and His answer began with the birth of Precious. Little did I know she would not live a long life (she died 2 months after this picture was taken), but even her death has been used to bring to life the deep love Jesus has for us.

Today I wanted to just take a minute and thank you for being a part fo this journey. Thank you for your prayers and encouragement. Thank you for sharing your life story and walk with Jesus. Mostly, thank you for allowing us to be a part of your life.

Though Precious is no longer with us, her birthday still holds great significance for me as I can reflect and see what all God has done. I pray that you will continue to Enjoy The Shepherd as we press on in this journey!
