#Impact on Jesus week 23
6/19/17 Hope you all had a great Father's Day. I have found it a little harder than I thought in Isaiah looking for the Impact moments on Christ. So much of the first five chapters is all about the punishment God was sending down on Israel and Judah. I cannot imagine being Isaiah and having to be the one writing these words telling the "chosen people of God" that their sin was going to lead them to devastation. Ahab remembers Ramiro Gilead is under Aram occupation and determines to go restore the city to Israel. He asked if Jehoshaphat would join him in war and
Impact on Jesus Week #20
Monday 5/29/17 1 Kings 8 & 9 must have been exciting chapters for Jesus growing up. They tell of Solomon building the temple and give some intricate details of what all he put in the Temple. I can see Jesus' ears perked up as he listened to each word and detail. What an exciting time in Israels history. The long talked about Temple finally being completed. Years of gathering items for it by David, rumors of its grand design, finally opened up for all to see. Solomon dedicates
